Tarkov Gunsmith Part 7 Mechanic Quest Guide

After completing Gunsmith Part 6 in Escape from Tarkov, Mechanic will provide you with the opportunity to begin Gunsmith Part 7, considering you are level 15. The Gunsmith tasks are beginning to ramp up in difficulty, whether you struggle to locate the parts for the weapon or build it yourself. Not all attachments are available on the Flea market anymore, thanks to developers deciding to revoke Flea access to more desirable attachments in earlier updates.

Gunsmith part 7 provides a mighty quest, requiring you to build a fully modified M4A1 complying with incredibly specific requirements. The rewards for this task being worthy of the stress will provide you with $500, meaning you can buy some mean gear from Peacekeeper for your troubles.

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 7

Gunsmith Part 7 will require a series of weapon attachments for the M4A1 following these criteria:

  • 60 Durability
  • 47 or greater ergonomics
  • 300 or less recoil
  • 800 or greater sighting range
  • 3.8 kg or less in weight
  • A magazine with a capacity of at least 60
  • A silencer

You are able to purchase the standard M4A1 from Peacekeeper loyalty level 2, however, all players completing this task will have access to the Flea market. Therefore, purchasing the standard weapon secondhand is more than acceptable, make sure the weapon is above 60 durability before purchasing the weapon! 

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 7

To complete Escape from Tarkov's Gunsmith part 7, you'll need to equip the M4A1 with the following attachments:

Players who gain Gunsmith Part 7 are required to be level 15, therefore meaning Flea market access has been granted to all players who complete this quest and future Gunsmith tasks. If you're unable to find these parts on the Flea market, load them into raids and search weapon crates to find them. Additionally, the M4A1 is a common weapon used amongst players, fighting players regularly will result in finding the majority of these parts due to the popularity of these attachments and the M4A1.

    • 575 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 2

  • Unlocks purchase of AR-15 Daniel Defense MK12 Low Profile Gas Block at Mechanic LL2

As seen, the rewards are a little more justified now, giving you more money and freedom to enjoy the rewards of your efforts. Although, you'll like be investing this money into future Gunsmith tasks!
